BRIDGERNET EMAIL SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
Microsoft Outlook steps:
Open Outlook
Tools
Email Accounts
Put a bullet in the Add a new email account, then click next
Put a bullet in the POP3 option then click next
Type in your name (as you want people to see it)
Type in your email address: (username@bridgernet.com)
Type in your username: username (do not type in @bridgernet.com here)
Type in your password: your existing password (down to 8 characters if it was longer)
Incoming mail server POP3: ordercenter.net
Outgoing mail server SMTP: ordercenter.net
Click on More Settings button
Go to the Outgoing Server tab
Checkmark the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
Leave the bullet in the use same settings.
Go to the Advanced tab
Change the outgoing server port from 25 to 2525
Click OK
Click Next
Then click Finish
OUTLOOK EXPRESS
Open Outlook Express
Tools
Accounts
Make sure you're in the mail tab
Add -> Mail
Type your name, then next
Type your email addressusername@bridgernet.com then click next
POP3 Server
Incoming mail: ordercenter.net
Outgoing mail: ordercenter.net
Account name: username (no @bridgernet.com here)
Password: password
Click Next
Click Finish
Click Properties
Click on the Server Tab (2nd tab over)
Checkmark the "My Server Requires Authentication"
Click on the Advanced tab (the last one)
Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP) Port from 25 to 2525
Then click ok or whatever you need to do to save it and exit.
MOZILLA THUNDERBIRD
1. Download and install Mozilla Thunderbird
2. Open Mozilla Thunderbird.
3. From the *Tools* menu, choose *Account Settings*
4. Select *Add Account*.
5. Click on the *Next* button.
6. Enter your name
7. In the *E-mail address field*, enter your full email address ( ex: joedoe@bridgernet.com)
8. Select *POP* as the type of *Incoming Server*.
9. In the *Incoming Server* field, enter
10. *ordercenter.net* In the *Incoming User Name* field, enter the first part of your email. (ex: joedoe)
11. In the *Account Name* field, enter whatever name you want to refer to this account as. (ex: Joe's Email Account)
12. Click on *Outgoing Server (SMTP)*
13. In the *Server Name* field, enter
14. *ordercenter.net* In the *User Name* field, put in the first part of your email or your username. (ex: joedoe)
15. Click Finish
16. While still in the account settings, highlight “Outgoing Server (SMTP)”
17. Highlight username-ordercenter.net and click “Edit”
18. In the Port field change it from 25 to 2525 and then click okay
